What the Codes Mean: The Gameshark works by taking a memory location in the Gameboy game that stores a number, and changing that number. In a Gameshark code, the first two digits represent the memory bank (don't worry, you don't need to know what that is ). The second two digits represent the number value that should be given to the memory location, which are represented by the last four digits. The memory location is actually the last two digits, then the two digits before it. For example: if the Gameshark code is 015F2F5F then it would assign the value of 5F, to the location 5F2F in the memory bank 01. What This Information Means: If you are wishing to play around with your Gameshark to develop new and interesting codes, an easy way to go about this is to modify existing codes that can be found on this guide.

Numerous bugs and problems had been reported after activating cheats. So, please be warned as well as be careful as you turn on a cheat especially when two or more cheats are activated at once.

Contributed by: Elements_Master • Reset Game Time To reset the game time, at the title screen hold Down+Select+B. You'll need a password next, see the Time Reset FAQ on how to generate your unique password.
Now replace the?? With the digits 13 in the level change code and you will find a level 19 Magikarp.
When it starts saving reset(or turn off) the game. When you go on your main file the starter should be in the box that it was placed in. Make sure before you do this glitch to go on your main file and move the number one pokemon in the box, as the starter will replace it. Use this glitch at your own risk, it can mess up game data.
First, start a new game. Then, before you go to Professor Elm's lab, save the game, then play the game as normal (DON'T SAVE) until you gain one more Pokemon and the ability to use boxes. Once you access the box, put your starter in the box, and then perform the duplication glitch, and, in turn, reset the game. You will start before you get your starter while you still have your previous starter in the box. Repeat this process twice, each time for a different starter, so that you have all three on the cartridge, whether in your party or in your box.

If you are running Windows then you should be able to run the calculator program located in your start menu.
